Community Orchard – Pollinator volunteer sessions - Horfield and District Allotments

Horfield Organic Community Orchard (HOCO) are running a community pollinator project in their orchard on our Golden Hill allotment site. The project is Bee Active, Bee Fruitful and is all about encouraging bees and other insect pollinators to the site.

HOCO are holding volunteer sessions where plotholders can help in various ways such as:

Preparing areas for planting and dry hedging
Marking out planting areas
Mulch making
Planting of pollinator-friendly plants

They are also happy to receive donations of pollinator-friendly plants.
