Further plant sale at Golden Hill

On Sunday 24th May, from 12 noon, Golden Hill Community Garden will be operating another plants sale, hoping to raise some funds after losing the Spring Fair. There will be plants available to buy at the Community Garden which is behind Horfield Prison between Longmead Avenue and Monk Road. (Use the gate nearest to Longmead Avenue.)

Update on June 9th – there are still a few plants available for sale. Contact Pete on 07913 953327 to find out more.

There will be plenty of tomatoes, chilli peppers, sweet peppers and assorted others, such as salad trays, fennel, mint and a few courgettes, not to mention some melons. Pete will be down at the polytunnels from 12 noon on Sunday, so do come along and see what’s there to fill your gaps.

In order to comply with social distancing, the plant stands are unmanned, although Pete Clee will be available in the area for assistance.  The plants will be on the prison side of the polytunnels, opposite the frog-shaped pizza  oven. The prices should be clearly displayed, and we ask that you put any payment in the transparent box on the picnic table. You will find a card there on which we would ask you to put details requested.

Thank you, and we hope that you find what you’re looking for.
