Kitchen/shelter under construction

The Golden Hill Community Garden all-weather shelter and kitchen is finally being built!  Money for this magnificent structure was raised by Lucy and the team by a combination of grants, fundraising and crowdfunding.

The shelter will be invaluable as a meeting place for the garden volunteers and for all the groups that are run during the year. This will mean that no longer will they have to huddle under the TetraPak  shelter, the Balehouse or the polytunnel to hide from the wind and rain!

The shelter should be completed later this month followed by the kitchen fitments later during the year.
