More drainage work at Golden Hill

Following on from the work done earlier in the summer on the main haulingway, we have had the groundworkers back to improve the drainage between Davies Field and St.Agnes Field. This is an area that often floods during the winter storms, resulting in streams flowing down some of the paths. It can also saturate some plots in water.

We have now installed a “French Drain”  along the whole length of the haulingway at the bottom of Davies Field . This should direct the rainwater away from haulingway and towards a storm drain.
