Pathway opening at Grahams Field

An enthusiastic crowd gathered to celebrate the opening of a new pathway on Grahams Telecomm field on Saturday 22nd February. Local Councillor Tom Renhard cut the ribbon to officially open the path which had been professionally constructed by a local contractor.

The pathway runs the length of the field and makes for easier access to all the plots. Sian Hampson, who organised the construction of the path, was there along with fellow committee members, Grahams plotholders and our other councillor Carole Johnson, to share some cake along with drinks which included some homemade blackberry vodka made from berries  grown on the site!

Sian’s next project is to develop an accessible  community space halfway down the site where people can sit and sit, meet and rest to enjoy the views and each others company.    Watch this space for further news!
