Apple Day market at HOCO
Event on Sunday 17 October
The traditional community Apple Day celebration at Horfield Organic Community Orchard (HOCO) cannot take place for the second year in a row. Sad news for orchard friends and supporters, and unhappy news for orchard funds.
In its place HOCO is organising a fundraising sale of fruit trees and local produce on Sunday 17 October, 2-4pm.
Sales are by ‘Advance order, Collect & Pay on the day’. Be quick with your orders – many things will sell out.
- Apple and Pear trees grafted by Tim Foster
- Preserves, Honey, pure Body Care products made by orchard members, featuring ingredients and materials from the orchard, allotments and gardens
- Bristol Green Woodwork by Geoff Hannis. Beautiful, practical items made with local wood – including some fruitwood from the orchard.
