The Annual Spring Fair was held on May 14th at Golden Hill for the first time since 2019. It was a great success with around 900 people attending .
The weather was glorious which led to a great time being had by all. The usual children’s activities were there – painting, drumming, pond dipping, Whack the Rat. This was supplemented by two choirs and loads of stalls selling plants and drinks to raise money for the Community Garden funds.
In all, a profit of around £2500 was made which is much-needed as the last two Fairs had to be cancelled because of Covid-19.
Lucy and her trusty band of volunteers did a great job in making the whole fair run smoothly. Great congratulations are due to all those who helped out and thanks to all those who attended .
