Sheds are no longer provided by the Council or the Allotment Assocation. However, tenants are normally allowed to install a shed on their plot.
Tenants should consult their field rep before constructing a shed on their plot and should proceed only with their agreement. Field Reps can bring any problems about this to the Committee.
A standard shed should have a maximum size of 1.8 metres x 1.2 metres (6 foot x 4 foot).
The shed must be within the boundaries of the plot so as not to obstruct the path for mowing and access.
