Strimmers

Battery-powered strimmers can be used at any time to keep your paths in order and keep weeds down. There may be a strimmer available for loan at your site – contact your Field Rep for details. For loaned-out equipment, please ensure you follow these safety guidelines.

If you are using a petrol strimmer be aware that they can be extremely annoying to plotholders and our neighbours as they emit noise at a particularly high-pitched frequency. Petrol strimmers should only be used  between the hours of 10 am and 12pm on any day of the week. It is recommended that 30 minutes should be the maximum duration for a strimming session.

If you require to use a petrol strimmer outside these hours please contact your Field Rep to seek permission.
