Fruit Tree sale
Annual Apple Day at Golden Hill is cancelled.
Fruit Tree sale on Sunday 18th October instead.
The Horfield Organic Community Orchard (HOCO) Apple Day celebration on Golden Hill cannot take place this year. Sad news for orchard friends and supporters, and bad news for orchard funds.
However, HOCO has fruit trees and local produce for sale.
Sales are by ‘Advance order, then Collect & Pay’ on Sunday 18 October. Be quick with your orders – many things will sell out.
- Apple and Pear trees grafted by Tim Foster
- Preserves, Honey, pure Body Care products made by orchard members, featuring ingredients and materials from the orchard, allotments and gardens
- Bristol Green Woodwork by Geoff Hannis. Beautiful, practical items made with local wood – including some from our hedgerows.
The Apple Tree Lady is raising funds by offering to identify mystery apples for a donation to the orchard. She is also available for one-hour consultations with plot holders and their fruit trees – the fee includes a £5 donation to HOCO.
